THE REAL MEDICINE

In January 2025, we entered a universal “9” year.

Nine energy is supportive of CLEARING OUT. Clearing out what no longer belongs. What no longer belongs to YOU - emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

One of the things I am clearing out this year is a pattern that I’ve lived in for lifetimes around a fear of abandonment.

This particular fear is surreptitious in nature. To spot it you may notice in your behavior an oscillation between pulling people close and pushing people away.

It’s crafty and it may not be so obvious. Just last week I became aware of how I was making an accommodation for someone in my family.

To be clear, there was no request of me to do something. This is why the pattern works. The fear of abandonment works off of the lie, if I do this, it will make them happy, it will make them love me, it will make them NOT WANT TO LEAVE.

I proceed, silently turning myself into a pretzel to do whatever it is. This is an attempt to pull them in. And then when they don’t respond in the way the fear needs them to, I react... I push them away. This could look like a clipped tone, unkind words or physically removing myself.

I’ve been working at this a long time and it’s not always been conscious. But I catch on much quicker now to this insidiousness.

And this awareness IS LIFE. When I become aware of what is happening, of what I am doing from this stubborn habit and pattern, it makes way for the light.

And mind you, this is not just any light. It is my light. The essence of Ellen. Who I have come to BE.

And truly, underneath it all, this is what I’m really after. This sweetness is me. I am home.

It would be enough if this only benefitted me. But that’s the thing, it benefits everyONE. Can you even imagine if all beings on the planet freed more of their light?!!

It’s the REAL Medicine. The light of you. The light of me. We ARE THE MEDICINE.

Nine is not here to clear out for clearing out’s sake. The clearing out is to make room for the Light. The Light that is YOU. That Light that is ME.

WE ARE THE REAL MEDICINE.
