NO ONE IS YOU

What if from day 1 you were encouraged to be who you are. Not be like someone else. Not be someone else’s idea of you but to be truly YOU.

The reality is this: No one is YOU. You were born as a distinct expression. This is true for every single human.

Each expression is sacred. YOUR expression is sacred.

If this sounds more familiar …

“You have to differentiate yourself.”

“You have to work to be/stay relevant.”

“You have to prove your worth.”

Know that these are simply one version of reality. For me these are not truths. They are lies.

My version says THIS…

You were born distinct.

You are by nature, always relevant.

Value is your constitution.

It is more than difficult to change from doing life to being who you are.

It’s not that there is no doing in being who you are. It’s that the doing flows from your being.

This requires a period of stillness. The doing wraps us in busyness. When we start to drop that busyness, there is quiet.

The quiet is time for getting to know your Self, for getting to know your Being.

This can feel disconcerting. Meet and move through the feeling…for as long and as many times as it takes.

YOU will be waiting on the other side.
