anchor in your creativity

Eighteen years and a couple months ago I created a vision for my life to Inspire through Creative Expression. At the time I could not have explained what this actually meant. It was a new thought in language I didn’t use then, but I felt the words as they presented and claimed this truth as my own.

What I’ve discovered since is that Creativity isn’t something outside of me. Creativity is Life Force energy. My Life Force. Your Life Force. Creativity is me. Creativity is you. It. Is. Not. Separate.

About four years ago I was really struggling. Sitting at the kitchen table and crying, I said to my husband, I don’t know what to do. He put his arms around me and whispered in my ear: Anchor in your Creativity. A beautiful reminder to mySelf to: Anchor in YOU and let your Life Force (Creativity) flow.

When we can do this, anchor in Self and let our Life Force flow, the True adventure begins. We become new again, a baby just born. We become, moment by precious moment, the adventure that our Life wants to be.

New is not born out of what is. New is born of what can be. This may seem obvious but it is profound. In order to open to what can be, we must temporarily suspend what is. We must open to that which is beyond our perception.

Loosening our grip on what we think is immovable, we make space for our Life Force (Creativity) to flow.
